If the queue is very long, a bellman/baggage porter will carry your bags inside, skipping the line straight to x-ray scanning, for about 100Rs

If you arrive late, don't let the official-looking taxi office inside fool you - there will be plenty cheaper options outside, no matter the time.

Make sure you get to the airport 90 mins before flight time..Between the ques at the gate at screening at check in at rescreening..u definately all the time in the world

Now it's a great clean beach from what it used to be, best time still at 5 am morning or then after 9 at night

Go for a take away pizza hut before the security check. You can take it through all procedures and enjoy almost normal meal while waiting for your flight.

The new airport's great except for food choices. Also be prepared to walk a lot from your terminal to the plane/bus that's taking you to the plane. It's a never ending path.

Finally some decent food options here, including a KFC and idly.com

I did not found Airport wifi. Much better than Pune and all domestic airports. Staff is helpful.

Get out of the airplane, and to your luggage as soon as you can. There are only two baggage belts and the baggage retrieval area can get quite crowded.

It's a busy airport even in the night but unfortunately there is no sleeping chairs or even chairs with neck support, good Middle East connectivity and maybe Asian ex USSR. It's modified few years bak

Get your bags screened as soon a you enter to avoid queuing twice. Airport is busy but safe, but as its domestic, local rules apply, don't queue - push in.... And just accept others will too! :-)

Once you enter the port you cant go outside again u need special permission and sh*t :)) so before entering the airport finish all ur work outside ;)

New construction actually makes it look and feel like an airport now. Also more food options than the one stall at the old airport.

Medium size airport with no / closed lounge. Most of the seats are either occupied or too dirty for anyone to sit so no point of coming early here. Has a good vibe with sea murals painted on the wall.

Its a small airport. I was able to through checkin in 30mins on less busy day (Saturday around 4pm)

Do not rent at the airport in an unlocked baggage money, cell phones and other valuables. If you need wrap with foil. The friends wife, upon arrival in Moscow, the iPhone and the money disappeared.

Recently renovated airport, taxi lines during peak season are long. Baggage comes fairly quickly.

This is one city that desperately needs the new terminal ..For the Beautiful state that await you , Current Old Terminal is a big let down to say the least ...

New intl airport but the lines are insanely long for baggage screening to check in and then security is awful for aft flights, so go at least 90 mins before your flight!

If you have an afternoon flight, get here early to give itself time for mandatory baggage scanning, check-in and security check. The lines tend to get very long.

Nice compact airport.

Basic Konkani language tips for you if you're boarding from other state/ overseas.

Be prepared for a huge queue at the entrance, also not many cafes/shops inside in the holding area.

Avoid the "Chicago crust" snack bar in the departure lounge. The food is lousy. In addition, avoid the seats near Gate H-it is near the smokers lounge.

On time service and a decent smattering of shops

Lmao..., I bypassed luggage screening.. ^^ just grab a handcuff clip and a tag and stick it to bag.. Ur done :D

Make sure you are here atleast an hour before its very small and will.take lot if time to check in

Pleasantly surprised to see the airport revamped. Pleasant experience.

Don't take photos - it is also the naval base and they get proper touchy!!
