The first-ever Captain’s Week is here! To celebrate the changes to Captaincy, throughout the week, you’ll be able to purchase ships at a discount, earn boosted rewards from the Sovereigns, gain extra Allegiance from Hourglass battles, and unlock new Captain-exclusive cutlasses!

What is the Captain's Week Event?

The Captain’s Week Event contains discounts on ships, boosted gold and reputation for treasure sold to the Sovereign, extra Allegiance for the Guardians and Servants, and two Challenges for your crew to complete.

Each one of the Challenges requires your pirate to sell piles of treasure to the Sovereigns. However, you must be aboard a Captained ship to sell your loot to the Sovereigns. If you don’t own a Captained ship, now’s your chance to buy one for a 60% discount! If you still can’t afford a vessel, don’t worry! You can still work on the Challenges if you sail on another Captain’s ship!

These Challenges are not repeatable like some in other events, so you only need to complete the Challenge’s requirements once. You also don’t need to complete the Challenges in one sitting. Instead, you can work on them over several sailing sessions.

Completing both Challenges will earn you every possible cosmetic the Captain’s Week event has to offer.

What are the Captain's Week rewards?

You can earn two different Cutlass cosmetics if you participate in the Captain’s Week event and sell enough treasure to the Sovereigns.

If you sell 50 pieces of treasure to the Sovereigns during Captain’s Week, you will unlock the Captain’s Rapier.

And if you sell 150 pieces of treasure to the Sovereigns during Captain’s Week, you will unlock the Captain’s Heavy Sword.

You can sell almost any piece of treasure to the Sovereigns and receive credit for the Challenges. The only kind of loot that does not count are food items accepted by The Hunter’s Call.

Captain's Week Challenges

There are two Challenges for your Captained crew to complete! You’ll need to sell at least 150 pieces of treasure to the Sovereigns to complete both of them!

Gold in the Hold

While sailing a Captained ship, cash in a small fortune’s worth of treasure items with the Sovereigns.

To complete the Gold in the Hold Challenge, you must sell 50 pieces of treasure to the Sovereigns. You can gather the loot you sell however you like! You can raid a Treasure Vault, retrieve Bounty Skulls, or recover some crates from a Lost Shipments voyage.

A few other great places to easily and quickly gather piles of loot are nearby Sea Forts and Siren Treasuries.

Of course, if you don’t mind spending some gold of your own, you could always purchase and sell commodities to different Outposts to make progress on the Challenge.

A Hoard in the Hold

While sailing a Captained ship, cash in a sizable fortunes worth of treasure items with the Sovereigns.

To complete the A Hoard in the Hold Challenge, you must sell 150 pieces of treasure to the Sovereigns. You’ll want to tackle this Challenge just as you did the Gold in the Hold Challenge. Gather loot and sell it to the Sovereigns to make progress!

If you are feeling brave enough, World Events are another great place to amass piles of loot! Those Fort of Fortune vaults have dozens of pieces of treasure!
